Key points
- Skrill is an e-wallet: you load it from a card, bank or other method, then pay the casino from the wallet.
- Fees depend on your country. Skrill's Finland fee page, for example, lists 1.25% for card uploads, 1.75% (minimum €3.50) for bank withdrawals and a 3.99% FX fee.

How paying with Skrill works
- Load your Skrill wallet, for example by card or bank transfer.
- Choose Skrill in the casino cashier and log in to approve the payment.
- The deposit is usually credited immediately.
- Withdraw back to Skrill after the casino approves the request, then move the money to your bank if you want.
Fees to expect
Skrill publishes fees by country. On its Finland fee page we checked:

Skrill also notes that a card issuer may charge a cash-advance fee if you use a credit card for gambling, outside Skrill's control. Check the fee page for your own country.
Bonus exclusions
Casinos often exclude e-wallet deposits from welcome bonuses, because of bonus abuse. If a bonus matters to you, check the payment-method exclusions before depositing with Skrill.
Name matching and verification
Casinos usually require the e-wallet to be in your own name. A mismatch can stop a withdrawal. Skrill also verifies its own customers separately from the casino.
Country restrictions
Gambling payments through e-wallets are restricted in some countries. Norway's Gambling Act, for example, prohibits processing payments to unlicensed gambling (§ 5). Check your country's rules in the regulation hub.
